Why they do this? Years ago I could spy on almost all private chats on livejasmin. Nowadays almost all private chats are blocked. It's fucking annoying. I can't spy and check what the girl is up to. Some girls block the session as soon as it starts, others leave it open until they get naked.

They don't want people to spy. Why? Some reasons...
  1. They have a whole scripted routine before getting down to business, and they want every member to go through this routine. It means money to them. If you were able to spy or jump into an ongoing private chat and watch the naughty part, it means that you didn't have to spend money on the initial mambo jumbo chat/tease shit they do in the beginning of every paid session. How long this routine takes depends on the girl.
  2. They do it to prevent piracy. It reduces the chances of being recorded, but it doesn't stop, specially if the girl is popular. They know that pirates only want to record the naughty part. See first point. So, if a pirate wants to record her show, he must pay for the whole thing, which they usually don't want to.
  3. To avoid multiple members. I heard this from a girl when I asked her why she locked our private session. She said that if it was open, other members would join, request things and I wouldn't have undivided attention from her.
As for the girl on point 3, I told her to unlock it to see what would happen. It took about 10 minutes for a member to join. He started talking to her, and she replied saying she was with another member and he left. But, according to LiveJasmin, she is not obligated to reply. She must give full attention to the member who initiated the session. Only interact with other members if this does not disturb the first member. No, no and no. The ONLY reason LJ models make privates exclusive is because they lie and manipulate multiple members with bullshit about love and interest. You would be surprised to know that most members believe they have some sort of "special" relationship with these models. Unfortunately, unless you are conversing with these models OFFLINE as in personal social media ( not to be confused with their studio social media ) or with personal phone calls, everything they tell you is nothing more than a big lie, no matter how much you are tipping them.

Sorry to hear this WhatHank and if that happened to me, I'm not sure what I would do. I mean, if you want to see her pussy, why not just take her private yourself? I don't see the point in joining someone else's private if you can see it in your own private. I know this is not the main reason at all. But many Russian girls are blocking private chats to avoid problems with police. It's a completely different situation. We are not talking about models that block private chats with some regular members because they are about to share some personal stuff. That is a fine reason to block a private chat. I can't speak for other sites, but LiveJasmin is notorious for models who play a serious game of lies and manipulation. Not all of them but a good percentage of them do this. They will lie about their age, which country they are from ( usually only Romanians do this but some Russians do it too ), about being single ( quite a few are married or at least in a relationship and some even have kids ). They will also play the sad, woe is me game about all the shit going on in their life, so please feel sorry for me and tip me for no reason. Based on my encounters on LJ, I would even say 90% of models follow this pattern of bs and most of them work at a studio.

Okay...so? You think guys don't know? I am not really sure what you are trying to tell. For most of the performers it is the easiest/fastest way to getting independent. Terrible idea. On other sites models can't lock private chats. So, they tell members that if they want to see certain things, they must pay for exclusive. Go to Streamate. Half of the models there have two prices. So many will tell you to pay for exclusive if you want a more hardcore show. It has nothing to do with privacy. They are just using this chat option to charge a fee for certain sex acts. Like it was some premium service. The same would happen on LiveJasmin. Then you would have girls doing regular privates and exclusive privates. Regular is ok price but you only see nipples. Exclusive is super expensive and you can see more.Many LJ girls are already doing this. I didn't know livejasmin was not paying for peeks. It's not fair.
But livejasmin is far from being a fair company. They are no longer
paying for messages either.But it is hard to believe that

Unfortunately, I don't have data on exclusive privates prior to February 2024. That was when I figured out that LiveJasmin was returning this data via its API. But in any case, the chart shows almost 2 years of data.If you are curious, the drop in the middle of the chart is New Year's Eve. The two spikes in 2025 occurred on May 31 and November 15. I don't know what caused the surge in private chats.
